This project is on 9.79 acres located at the intersection of Snowden Farm Parkway and Sweetspire Drive. This site is currently undeveloped. The proposed plan is to develop a new elementary school with the associated parking and play areas. The site is located in the Clarksburg Special Protection Area.

 If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 6/1/2017).  The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours (8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday).

Planning Board Seeks Public Comment on

Administrative and County Council Water and Sewer Category Change Requests

The Planning Board will hear testimony and consider recommendations for the water and sewer category change requests (WSSCR) listed below on Thursday June 22, 2017.  The applications request that community water and/or sewer service be extended to these properties.

 A public hearing will take place on June 21, 2017 for the Administrative Cases at the Department of Environmental Protection in Rockville.  Planning Board recommendations will be presented to the County Executive following the Board and Executive hearings.

A public hearing before the County Council will take place on June 27, 2017 in Rockville.  The Planning Board recommendation will be presented to the County Council for the Overlea Drive case.
