This tower is part of the County’s Public Safety System Modernization (PSSM) Project to provide adequate radio coverage in several areas in the County the new base stations are sited and designed to provide complete and effective coverage according to a ‘95/95’ coverage mandate: 95% coverage reliability in 95% of the County service area.”

ZTA 18-02 amends the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance to revise the use standards for antennas, revise the standards for antennas on existing structures and allow telecommunications towers as a limited use in certain zones.
