The Montgomery County Planning Department invites the public to review the staff draft of the Twinbrook Sector Plan at a public meeting on Monday, November 20, 2006, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Twinbrook Recreation Center located at 12920 Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville. Come listen and discuss the draft with the planners and fellow community members.

The Planning Board announces the first public meeting on the White Flint Sector Plan. The purpose of the meeting is to describe the planning process and to conduct a workshop to find out more about the public’s issues and hopes for the future of White Flint. The specifics with respect to the meeting follow:

Nominations Accepted until Friday, November 10, 2006
The Planning Board is accepting nominations for the Plan Advisory Group (PAG) and has extended the deadline until November 10, 2006. The Planning Board will appoint members of the PAG in December.
The Plan Advisory Group will represent those interested in planning and urban design for the White Flint area. It will include people with a variety of perspectives. The Planning Board is inviting residents of White Flint and nearby neighborhoods, employers, property and business owners, civic group leaders and others to apply.
