Join our speakers series focusing on ReThink Culture.

Montgomery County is home to an extraordinary number of cultures. Each community creates its own sense of connectivity in a variety of ways. Join Reemberto Rodriguez (Silver Spring Regional Center), Megan Moriarty (IMPACT Silver Spring), Rassa Davoodpour (Iranian community leader) and Tebabu Assefa (Ethiopian community leader and activist) as we explore these different methods, discuss the way people act and think about their community, and what that means for planners and planning.

The 2010 Montgomery County Planning Department speaker series, Rethink Montgomery, presents ways to connect culture, health, food, knowledge, ecology, economy, local infrastructure, resources, and energy. Join us for our community discussions every Thursday through June 3, 2010.
