OLNEY MASTER PLAN COMMUNITY MEETINGS

 

The Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning has scheduled a series of public meetings on the Olney Master Plan Update as follows:

 

                                   Thursday, September 12, 2002--Parks and Recreation

                                   Tuesday, September 17, 2002--Patuxent Watershed & Resource Protection

                                   Tuesday, September 24, 2002--Town Center

                                   Tuesday, October 1, 2002--Land Use

 

All meetings will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Sandy Spring Friends School located at 16923 Norwood Road in Sandy Spring.

 

Copies of the Purpose and Outreach Strategy Report, the Draft Concept Plan and other information on the Olney Master Plan Update are available online from the master plan’s web site at www.mcparkandplanning.org/olney. Planning Board Meeting on Enterprise User Fees

     Each year, the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission reviews the user fees charged at our Enterprise facilities.  Staff from the Department of Park and planning, enterprise Office will present he user fees for the upcoming year to the Montgomery County Planning Board for public review and comment at this meeting. Copies of all our proposed Enterprise fees may be obtained at the Department of Park and Planning, Enterprise Office, Parkside Headquarters, 9500 Burnett Avenue, Silver Spring.  For additional information, please contact Karen Warnick at (301) 650-2873.

 

     You are invited to comment on our Enterprise fees at the Planning Board Meeting. Speakers who represent organizations will be allowed five minutes; individuals will be allowed three minutes.
