Planning Board Meeting on Enterprise User Fees Thursday,

Each year, the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission reviews the user fees charged at our Enterprise facilities. Staff
from the Department of Park and planning, enterprise Office will present he
user fees for the upcoming year to the Montgomery County Planning Board for
public review and comment at this meeting. Copies of all our proposed
Enterprise fees may be obtained at the Department of Park and Planning,
Enterprise Office, Parkside Headquarters, 9500 Burnett Avenue, Silver Spring.

You are invited to comment on our Enterprise fees at the
Planning Board Meeting. Speakers who represent organizations will be allowed

Community Meeting on Proposed Deer Management Plan at Northwest Branch and Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park

On Wednesday, October 30,2002,20027:30-9:30 p.m. at Argyle
Middle School, 2400 Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring, the Montgomery County
Department of Park and Planning will hold a public meeting to present
information on police-based sharpshooting activities proposed for Northwest
Branch Park and Woodlawn Cultural Park to the communities surrounding these
parks. This meeting will give residents an opportunity to learn of the proposed
activities and comment on these prior to the Department's decision to proceed.
In addition to the newly-proposed activities at Northwest Branch Park and
Woodlawn Cultural Park, police-based sharpshooting will be continued at Rock
Creek Regional Park in Rockville and North Branch Stream Valley Park in Derwood
between January 1 and March 1,2003, Property owners adjacent to these affected
parks will be notified of sharpshooting activities prior to implementation.
