Wheaton Woods Elementary School The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning and the Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation invite trail users, park neighbors and others to participate in a public information meeting, Thursday, May 1, 7:30 p.m., Wheaton Woods Elementary School, 4510 Faroe Place, Rockville, on the proposed connection of the Rock Creek Trail with a pedestrian bridge over Veirs Mill Road, in Aspen Hill. Staff members will present preliminary alternatives for the alignment of the trail and bridge near Aspen Hill Road and solicit ideas and comments from participants. Winding Creek Park Renovation Public Meeting Wednesday,
May 7, 2003 at 7 p.m., Located at Dewey and Edgebrook Roads in Silver Spring, Winding Creek Local Park will close at the end of August 2003 to allow for replacement of a deteriorated sewer line within Rock Creek Park.
