Planning Board Reschedules Review and Public Comment on Consolidating Headquarters

The Montgomery County Planning Board has rescheduled the review of the headquarters consolidation effort until September in consideration of the summer schedules of those interested in the project. For more information and a specific date, organizations and individuals should contact Marion Joyce, 301-495-4602 after August 1, 2003.


Redland Road Mandatory Referral

The Mandatory Referral for the Redland Road project originally scheduled for July 24, 2003 has been postponed.
This item is anticipated to be rescheduled in the fall. Arrangements concerning public testimony at the Board's hearing of this project will be determined at that time. No sign-ups will be taken until further notice in the Board's agenda.

Department of Permitting Services Division of Water Resources Management
has received a PRELIMINARY/FINAL WATER QUALITY PLAN for
FAIRLAND HEIGHTS

The site is located at the end of Starcrest Drive, which is within the Upper Paint Branch Watershed. The Upper Paint Branch Watershed is a designated Special Protection Area. The proposed development will consist of 1 new single-family house on a 0.56 acre lot. If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 7/7/2003). The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours.
