Germantown Master Plan Revision Begins
Community Meetings Set for June 1, 3, and 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Germantown

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning is inviting residents, businesses and organizations to participate in a series of public meetings to identify issues of concern for the future of the Germantown planning area as follows: Tuesday, June 1, Upcounty Services Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road; Thursday, June 3, Ronald McNair Elementary School, 13881 Hopkins Road; and Tuesday, June 8, Neelsville Middle School, 11700 Neelsville Road. Set for 7:00 p.m. in Germantown, this series of meetings begins the process of revising the Germantown Master Plan last updated in 1989. Additional meetings will occur throughout the summer and early fall.

Automated Tee Time Reservation System
Up and Running for Local Golf Courses

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announces the start-up of an automated tee time reservation system for the following M-NCPPC golf courses: Little Bennett, Needwood, Northwest Park, Sligo Creek and White Oak in Montgomery County, and Enterprise in Prince George's County. Customers are now able to reserve, modify or cancel tee times via the Internet or over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
