COMMUNITY WORKSHOP ON WOODMONT TRIANGLE
The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County will hold the last in a series of community workshops on visions for the future of the Woodmont Triangle area of Bethesda, on November 10, 2003, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda. The workshop, "Recommendation and Solutions - Discussion and Analysis of Focus Group Results" is open to all. ADDITIONAL PUBLIC COMMENT ON THE UPPER ROCK CREEK
AREA MASTER PLAN
The Montgomery County Planning Board will hear additional public comment on a single issue in the Upper Rock Creek Area Master Plan: Pulte Homes' proposal for an adult community on the Freeman property. The Board will hear public comment on November 13, 2003 and discuss the proposal on November 20. POLICY AND GUIDELINES
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2003 AT 7:30 P.M. The Montgomery County Planning Board invites public comment regarding its proposed Policy and Guidelines on Donations and Public-Private Partnerships. The Policy and Guidelines are available on our web site at www.mc-mncppc.org. The purpose of this Policy is to define the circumstances under which it is appropriate for the Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning to receive certain donations and enter into public-private partnerships, and to provide guidelines regarding the development and evaluation of partnerships. BROAD ACRES LOCAL PARK RENOVATION MEETING SET
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 7 P.M. There will be a Public Meeting to discuss the proposed Broadacres Local Park renovation at 7:00pm Tuesday November 18, 2003 in the Broad Acres Elementary School Teacher's Lounge. The Renovation of Broadacres Local Park is proposed
to coordinate with the addition and renovation of the Broad Acres
Elementary School. Improvements being considered for the park include:
new playground areas; new soccer area; new paved trail; new nature
trail; new picnic area; landscaped entrance plaza; Portajohns w/ enclosure;
outdoor classroom area; student garden areas; a multi-use court for
rollerblading, games, basketball, and possible water play. For further
