  1. Unless otherwise noted, Planning Board meetings are held on Thursdays and begin at 9:00 a.m. The agenda is subject to change and certain items may be postponed or added.
  2. The Planning Board encourages public testimony unless otherwise noted on the agenda. Refer to the Planning Board Rules of Procedure for more information on public testimony. Any individual or organization may submit a written statement for consideration by the Planning Board. Written comments must be received in the Chair's office at least 48 hours in advance of the Planning Board hearing date, referencing the hearing date and item, to be reviewed by the Board and included in the official record of the hearing. Written comments received within 48 hours before a hearing will be placed in the file, but will not be considered by the Planning Board or included in the official record.   3. Copies of testimony presented orally or copies of correspondence will not be distributed at the hearing.
  4. Occasionally due to time constraints, the Planning Board may limit the total amount of time dedicated to public testimony. Public testimony may not be taken for items identified as Briefings, Worksessions and/or Roundtables. On other occasions when no public testimony will be taken, the agenda will specifiy.
  5. To testify on an agenda item, sign-up online or call 301-495-4600 before 4:00 pm the day before the meeting. On the day of the meeting, please see the clerk in the Board Auditorium to sign-up. Submission of written comments does not constitute signing up to speak.

  7. The Planning Board makes the final decision on any agenda items with an (*). On such matters, Maryland law and the Planning Board’s Rules of Procedure prohibit any member of the public from directly contacting or communicating with Board members outside the public hearing setting. Planning Board Seeks Public Comment on
Water and Sewer Category Change Requests

The Planning Board will hear testimony and consider recommendations for the water and sewer category change requests listed below on Thursday June 9, 2011. These applications request that community water and/or sewer service be extended to individual properties. Recommendations from the Planning Board will be presented to the County Executive and the County Council.

A public hearing on the Administrative cases will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2011 at the Department of Environmental Protection in Rockville. The Hearing record for the Administrative cases will be held open until the Planning Board has commented to the County Executive.

A public hearing on the County Council cases will take place on June 16, 2011 at the County Council in Rockville.

for
CLARKSBURG FIRE STATION

The proposed development is for the construction of a Fire Station on the west side of MD Route 355 north of the intersection with MD Route 121. The property is 4.04 acres in size. This area is located within the Clarksburg Special Protection Area.

 

If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Posted 5/27/11).

 

The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours (8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday).
