Presentation of Annual Land Use Report to MDP
As per the requirements established recently by State legislation, each local jurisdiction must submit an annual land use report to the Maryland Department of Planning. The objective of this request is to monitor growth statewide and to determine if State smart growth policies are having beneficial or unanticipated effects. This report for Calendar Year 2014 is the fifth such report prepared by the Montgomery County Planning Department for Board approval of transmission to our County Council President and the State of Maryland Department of Planning.

The project also includes the construction of 450 feet of six-foot-wide sidewalk along Muncaster Mill Road from Needwood Road to Colonel Zadok Magruder High School.

Water and Sewer Category Change Requests

The Planning Board will hear testimony and consider recommendations for the water and sewer category change requests (WSSCR) listed below on Thursday June 18, 2015.  These applications request that community water and/or sewer service be extended to these properties.  A recommendation from the Planning Board will be presented to the County Council.  A public hearing before the County Council will take place on June 23, 2015 at 1:30 pm in Rockville.
