Department of Permitting Services

Division of Water Resources Management

has received a

 

PRELIMINARY/FINAL WATER QUALITY PLAN

For

CENTER FOR ADVANCED RESEARCH IN BIOTECHNOLOGY

 

The site is located on Gudelsky Drive within the University of Maryland Shady Grove Campus. The project will consist of a multi-story building with a detached greenhouse and approximately seven additional parking spaces. This is within the Piney Branch Watershed.  The Piney Branch Watershed is a designated Special Protection Area.

            If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 7/22/2002).

 

            The Water Quality Plans are also available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours. (8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday)

PUBLIC HEARING ON THE UPPER ROCK CREEK AREA MASTER PLAN

 

The Montgomery County Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on the Upper Rock Creek Area Master Plan on Thursday, October 3, 2002.
