PLANNING BOARD RESCHEDULES REVIEW AND PUBLIC COMMENT
ON CONSOLIDATING HEADQUARTERS

The Montgomery County Planning Board has rescheduled the review of the headquarters consolidation effort until September in consideration of the summer schedules of those interested in the project. REDLAND ROAD MANDATORY REFERRAL
Testimony Limited to One Hour -- Please Sign Up in Advance to Speak

On Thursday, July 24, 2003, the Planning Board will review the Mandatory Referral of Redland Road from Crabbs Branch Way to Needwood Road, CIP Project No. 500010. Public testimony on this project will be limited to one hour. Members of the public may sign up to speak on this project beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2003 by calling the Community Relations Office at 301-495-4600.

The site is located at the end of Starcrest Drive, which is within the Upper Paint Branch Watershed. The Upper Paint Branch Watershed is a designated Special Protection Area. The proposed development will consist of 1 new single-family house on a 0.56 acre lot. If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 7/7/2003). The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours. (8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday)

Since 2001, the Charles W. Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity, 11319 Elkins Street in Wheaton, has served Montgomery County community members with services and programs made possible through generous partnerships with area organizations and community individuals. The Center also offers the use of its space to area groups and organizations for meetings and other events. There is sometimes a minimal charge for the use of the space.
