Montgomery Parks Hosts Second Public Meeting on Ovid Hazen Wells Recreational Park Master Plan Update

SILVER SPRING, MDMontgomery Parks, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission invites the public to a presentation of the draft concept drawings for the Ovid Hazen Wells Master Plan Update. The meeting will take place Monday, June 16, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Arora Hills Community Center. Public will be invited to provide input on:

 

  • A concept Plan and Preliminary Program of Requirements for a Family Destination Area including the relocated carousel
  • A location for the future Clarksburg Recreation and Aquatics Center (if this park becomes the final location as determined by the Recreation Department)
  • A Concept Plan and Preliminary Program of Requirements for the Central and Eastern Areas of the park
