Montgomery Parks Winter Weather Closures January 21, 2014
January 21, 2014, SILVER SPRING, MD—Please find information regarding Montgomery Parks facilities related to today’s inclement weather.
Ice and Tennis Centers: Ice skating classes at Cabin John Ice and Wheaton Ice Area are cancelled today. Cabin John Ice classes have been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 25. Classes at Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center and Wheaton Indoor Tennis are cancelled.
Brookside Gardens and all Nature Centers (Black Hill Visitors Center, Brookside Nature Center, Locust Grove Nature Center, Meadowside Nature Center) are closed today.
Park Activity Buildings: All Park Activity Buildings are closed today and rentals planned for today are cancelled. Customers whose reservations have been effected by such closings should contact the park Permit Office at 301-495-2525 when it reopens to obtain a refund or reschedule their event. We apologize for any inconvenience.
