Montgomery Parks Holiday Operating Schedule for President’s Day, Monday, February 18, 2013

Most parks and facilities will be open with the exception of  Brookside Gardens, Nature Centers and the Park Permits Office.

PRESIDENT’S DAY HOLIDAY OPERATING SCHEDULE

Montgomery Parks will observe the following operating hours for the President’s Day holiday on Monday, February 18, 2013:

OPEN:

Ice skating rinks will observe standard operating schedules, and offer holiday pricing ($6.50 per person)

  • Cabin John Ice: Open 8AM – 6:15PM. Visit www.CabinJohnIce.com or call 301-765-8620 for skating session times.
  • Wheaton Ice Arena: Open 10AM – 6:45PM. Visit www.WheatonIceArena.com or call 301-905-300 for skating session times.

Tennis centers will observe standard operating schedules.

  • Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center at Cabin John Regional Park: Open 6AM – midnight. Visit www.CabinJohnTennis.com or call 301-765-8650 for court availability.
  • Wheaton Indoor Tennis at Wheaton Regional Park: Open 8AM – 11PM. Visit www.WheatonTennis.com or call 301-905-3030 for court availability.

CLOSED:

Brookside Gardens Visitors Center and Conservatories will be closed.

Montgomery Parks Nature Centers will be closed. The nature center grounds will be open for exploration.

  • Black Hill Visitors Center
  • Brookside Nature Center
  • Locust Grove Nature Center
  • Meadowside Nature Center

The Montgomery Parks Permits Office will be closed including both synthetic turf fields at Blair High School and Fairland Recreational Park. All the Park Activity Buildings will be open for customers with existing reservations.
