No evidence of a hostile work environment found
WHEATON, Md. – The results of an independent investigation conducted at the request of the Montgomery County Council are that there is no evidence of a hostile work environment at Montgomery Planning, Montgomery Parks, or the Montgomery Planning Board – all part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). The Commission received recommendations regarding updating policies and will work closely with Commission staff and departments to act on these recommendations.
“The Planning Board and the Commission are committed to ensuring every Commission employee continues to experience a positive and inclusive work environment,” said Montgomery Planning Board Chair Jeff Zyontz. “I appreciate the support of the County Council to move forward and continue the important work of the Parks and Planning Departments for the residents of Montgomery County.”
With regard to access to the report, the Commission will respond to requests subject to applicable provisions of the Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA). Learn more about how to make an MPIA request through M-NCPPC: https://www.mncppc.org/mpia/.
