Bethesda Downtown Plan Visual Preferences Survey Still Open to the Public

Results to date available online, survey still available to the public

SILVER SPRING, MD –The Montgomery County Planning Department has extended the availability of the Bethesda Downtown Plan online visual preferences survey and encourages the community to vote on the look and feel that they would like to see in Downtown Bethesda.

The survey was launched in early May and the results thus far are available online. Due to the popularity of the survey, the survey’s availability has been extended until June 16.

For each neighborhood in downtown Bethesda, the informal survey poses questions about street character, gathering spaces, and the preferred landscaping for those spaces. Survey results will give direction to Planning staff about how Downtown Bethesda should look and feel for the next twenty years and beyond.
