In appreciation for their partnership with Montgomery Parks, part of the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Go Ape at Rock Creek Regional Park announces a Park Friends Fundraiser! On Saturday October 4th and Sunday October 5th, $10 of every ticket sold will go back to the park through a donation to the Montgomery Parks Foundation.

The Montgomery Parks Foundation (www.montgomeryparksfoundation.org) is a fundraising and support organization to Montgomery Parks. Funds raised by the Foundation support Montgomery County Parks facilities and programs.
During the Park Friends Fundraiser, guests receive 10% off their ticket when they use promo code “GIVERC” to book at www.goape.com or by calling 1-800-971-8271. With the promo code, every guest who books for October 4th and 5th will receive a 10% discount PLUS $10 of their ticket goes back to the Foundation.
Park Friends Fundraisers, are just one way Go Ape supports the parks. A portion of every ticket sold throughout the year already goes back to the parks, and throughout the year Go Ape staff also takes part in park cleanups, replanting, and donating free and discounted tickets to underserved and special needs communities. All of Go Ape’s treetop adventure courses; built in partnership with public parks across the country, are taking part in the fundraiser. The company encourages everyone to support the organizations that contribute to their parks and make this year’s Park Friends Fundraiser the most significant yet.

Go Ape is a highly interactive treetop adventure where participants are equipped with harnesses, pulleys and carabineers and receive a 30-minute training session before they are turned loose into the forest canopy.
