BETHESDA, MD—This Saturday the Montgomery County Department of Parks hosts a panel discussion with Dr. Cheryl LaRoche, Historical and Archaeological Consultant, University of Maryland, and Dr. Dianne Swann-Wright, Director and Curator, Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum on Josiah Henson and the department’s premier historic site, the Josiah Henson Site/“Uncle Tom’s Cabin.” Eight 20-minute tours of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” will follow the panel discussion.
