The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission

Thank you for signing up to testify before the Montgomery County Planning Board. All speakers, both in person and virtual, will receive the official meeting invite on the day before the scheduled Planning Board meeting with the approximate time of that item. Speakers testifying virtually will receive a follow-up e-mail to attend a Teams practice session hosted by staff (typically held on Wednesdays at 3pm). We strongly encourage your participation to ensure you can connect during the hearing.  Please note the Board cannot guarantee a particular time for speakers to testify and Board items may run ahead or behind schedule.  Speakers are responsible for being available when their name is called and should monitor the Board’s progress.

The deadline to submit written comments to the Planning Board is 12pm, two business days before the scheduled Planning Board meeting. Comments should be submitted to: MCP-Chair@mncppc-mc.org. Please be sure to include your mailing address to satisfy proper noticing requirements.

Copies of all materials (example: presentations, exhibits, images) you wish to present to the Board during your testimony must be sent to MCP-Chair@mncppc-mc.org by 12pm, two business days before the scheduled meeting. Materials may not be permitted unless submitted prior to the deadline. Written testimony may not be accepted during the meeting.

Note: The Wednesday practice sessions are intended for staff to provide limited technical support and to go over meeting practices/procedures. To avoid technical issues on the meeting date, we strongly recommend participating in the practice session. As a reminder, if you are not able to join us in-person or use the virtual meeting functions of Teams, you can join the meeting using the dial-in number included on the official invite.
