On Thursday, April 3, 7:30 p.m., the Montgomery County Planning Board will hear testimony on the proposed Matthew Henson Hiker-Biker Trail located in Matthew Henson State Park and the Matthew Henson Greenway. The proposed site is located opposite the existing softball fields #5 & 6 on the Westlake Drive of the park.

The Montgomery County Planning board will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2003 to receive public comments on the development proposal. The Planning Board meeting will be conducted in the auditorium at 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Representatives from Montgomery Lane, LLC, the organization seeking to enter into a public/private partnership with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to develop the indoor baseball & sports training facility will present their proposal.
