M-NCPPC OFFERS PARK PERMITS ONLINE
www.parkpermits.org

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning has expanded its web site to offer residents and visitors online permitting of selected park facilities, using a credit card in a secure environment.

Those who wish to reserve a picnic shelter or a recreation building for social events or meetings can check the availability of the facility online in real time before paying the rental fee and refundable deposit. Other facilities that can be accessed online include primitive campsites, group picnic areas and a gymnasium. However, reservations of ballfields for league and tournament play require a different process and are not yet available online.

Park patrons may go to www.parkpermits.org to access the Park Permits Office online. Customers may also visit the two Permits Offices: Parkside Headquarters, 9500 Brunett Avenue in Silver Spring or the UpCounty Government Services Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown, Maryland. For more information about business hours and directions, call the Park Permits Office at 301-495-2525.
