SILVER SPRING, MD—Montgomery Parks, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission has made a difficult decision to cancel this year’s “Wings of Fancy” live butterfly & caterpillar exhibit held annually at Brookside Gardens. The exhibit has been cancelled due to construction underway at the entrance and parking areas of Brookside Gardens.
Brookside Gardens and the Conservatory remain open during the construction, and a free summer Conservatory Display is open daily until Sunday September 21. The “Wings of Fancy” exhibit will return in 2015.
For more information about the construction at Brookside Gardens, including alternate parking areas, please visit www.BrooksideGardens.org.
