WHEATON, MD—The Montgomery County Department of Parks is offering new programs this summer at the Wheaton Outdoor Rink, 11751 Orebaugh Avenue, Wheaton, MD 20902.
- Family Flicks: Bring your blankets, chairs and the family to enjoy outdoor movies for just $2.50 per person. Doors open at 7:00 pm, movie starts at dusk each evening. What’s showing? Saturday, June 5, Annie; Saturday, June 19, Willy Wonka; Saturday, July 17, The Wizard of Oz; Saturday, August 7, The Goonies; and Saturday, August 21, Shrek.
- Roller Night: Grab your rollerblades, roller skates and friends and skate every Friday evening this summer in June, July and August, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for just $3.50 per person.
- Flea Market in the Park: Got stuff? Need stuff? Now the popular Flea Market in the Park is open twice a month. For just $25 get a 10’ x 10’ space to sell your wares. The flea market is FREE to shoppers.
