COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS ON WOODMONT TRIANGLE

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County will hold a series of community workshops on visions for the future of the Woodmont Triangle area of Bethesda, at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda.

Workshops and focus groups are open to all:

November 10, 2003, 7:00-9:00 p.m.: Recommendation and Solutions - Discussion and Analysis of Focus Group Results

PLANNING BOARD SEEKS LEGACY OPEN SPACE ADVISORY GROUP MEMBERS
Deadline Extended to October 31, 2003

M-NCPPC's Montgomery County Planning Board is seeking several individuals to fill openings on the Advisory Group for the Legacy Open Space program. Members provide feedback to Commission staff on implementing the Legacy Open Space Functional Master Plan at quarterly meetings. Legacy Open Space is the Planning Board's bold initiative to conserve and steward land of exceptional value.
