M-NCPPC Briefing, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission will receive a briefing by its bi-county trail planning staff, Wednesday, October 20, 10 a.m., at M-NCPPC's Montgomery Regional Office, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, on the proposed trails concept plan for the Commission's Fairland Recreational and Fairland Regional Parks in Burtonsville and Laurel.
M-NCPPC trail planning staff from Montgomery and Prince George's Counties will brief the Bi-County Commission on the draft concept plan after receiving ideas from the public on September 22 at a community meeting on the development of a trail network of natural and hard surface trails for walkers, hikers, cyclists and equestrians. This proposed trail network would connect to the existing shared-use Holly Trail and would replace an existing section of the trail network in M-NCPPC's only bi-county park.
