Modify the definition of “Household Living”; define “Short-Term Residential Rental”; and establish limited use standards for Short-Term Residential Rental. The Planning Board’s recommendations on ZTA 16-03, dated May 11, 2017, were formalized by the introduction of ZTA 17-03 and revisions to Bill 2-16 (originally introduced February 2, 2016 and pertaining to the licensing and registration for short-term housing). No substantive changes have been made to the Board’s initial recommendations.

No additional testimony will be taken on this issue.

Staff Recommendation: Transmit Comments to County Council.
