The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Department of
Park and Planning is inviting park users, neighbors and others to participate in a public information meeting on proposed amendments to the Woodstock Equestrian Park Master Plan at a public information meeting, Owen's Local Park Recreation Building, 19900 Beallsville Road, Beallsville.

Amendments to the Master Plan include a recommendation to purchase additional undeveloped land located
contiguous to the park along MD 28, and a potential revision to the location of several Phase II facilities. Woodstock
Equestrian Park is currently under development on both sides of MD 28, Darnestown Road, just north of the village of

M-NCPPC OFFERS PARK PERMITS ONLINE

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning has expanded its web site to offer residents and visitors online permitting of selected park facilities, using a credit card in a secure environment.
Those who wish to reserve a picnic shelter or a recreation building for social events or meetings can check the availability of the facility online in real time before paying the rental fee and refundable deposit. Other facilities that can be accessed online include primitive campsites, group picnic areas and a gymnasium. However, reservations of ballfields for league and tournament play require a different process and are not yet available online.
Park patrons may go to www.parkpermits.org to access the Park Permits Office online. Customers may also visit the two Permits Offices: Parkside Headquarters, 9500 Brunett Avenue in Silver Spring or the UpCounty Government Services Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown, Maryland. Automated Tee Time Reservation System
Up and Running for Local Golf Courses

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announces the start-up of an automated tee time reservation system for the following M-NCPPC golf courses: Little Bennett, Needwood, Northwest Park, Sligo Creek and White Oak in Montgomery County, and Enterprise in Prince George's County. Customers are now able to reserve, modify or cancel tee times via the Internet or over the phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
