Public Hearing on
Damascus-Goshen Area Historic Resources Set for December 2

The Montgomery County Planning Board is inviting testimony on the Public Hearing (Preliminary) Draft Amendment to the Master Plan of Historic Preservation: Damascus-Goshen Area Historic Resources, Thursday, December 2, 2004 (time to be determined), at M-NCPPC's auditorium, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring.
During this Public Hearing, the Planning Board will listen to residents, property owners, civic associations and others on whether or not the properties listed below should be included in the Master Plan for Historic Preservation. According to criteria included in the Historic Preservation Ordinance of the Montgomery County Code, the Historic Preservation Commission reviewed the architectural and historical significance of these 57 properties and has made recommendations to the Planning Board on whether or not the properties merit historic designation.
