Briefing on the Planning Department’s Vision Zero work plan and request to add the predictive safety analysis project to the Planning Department’s work program from a budgetary and staffing perspective.

Briefing on the Environmental Guidelines Update Scope and Process

Recommendations in the Approved and Adopted 10 Mile Creek Area Limited Amendment to the Clarksburg Master Plan and Hyattstown Special Study Area necessitate updates to the Environmental Guidelines. Additional updates to reflect other technical changes since the last update in 2000, such as new Special Protection Areas, will also be included in a set of proposed updates that will be brought before the Planning Board at a future meeting. This briefing will summarize the scope of the updates to be proposed and the review and approval process.

Planning Board Seeks Public Comment on
Administrative Water and Sewer Category Change Requests

 

The Planning Board will hear testimony and consider recommendations for the water and sewer category change requests (WSSCR) listed below on Thursday January 16, 2020. The applications request that community water and/or sewer service be extended to these properties.

A public hearing for these cases will take place on January 22, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in Rockville. Planning Board recommendations for these cases will be presented to the County Executive before final decision.
