PLANNING BOARD RULES OF PROCEDURE - CHANGES

The Board will consider comprehensive revisions to the Planning Board's Rules of Procedure later this spring.
No specific revisions have been proposed at this time. Staff seeks public comment regarding ways to improve the procedures governing Planning Board hearings. Staff seeks public comment on the Board's Rules on Monday, April 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring. Send written comments to Michele Rosenfeld, Associate General Counsel, at M-NCPPC, Suite 205, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. After the public forum, staff will draft revised rules for public review and comment. For copies of the current Rules, call 301-495-4646. The Board will hold a public hearing before taking any action on proposed revisions to its Rules.

for
BENNETT CREEK VETERINARY HOSPITAL

This proposed development is for a veterinary hospital on a 2.0 acres parcel of land. The site is located on Frederick Road (MD Route 355), just south of Running Brook Drive. This area is within the portion of the Little Seneca Creek Watershed (Clarksburg) that is designated as a Special Protection Area.

If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 4/11/2005).

The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours. (8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday)

Up and Running for Local Golf Courses

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announces the start-up of an automated tee time reservation system for the following M-NCPPC golf courses: Little Bennett, Needwood, Northwest Park, Sligo Creek and White Oak in Montgomery County, and Enterprise in Prince George's County.
