Item 7 | Attainable Housing StrategiesPlanning Staff will present general recommendations to create more diverse types of housing attainable to more households in more Montgomery County neighborhoods, to unravel the exclusionary aspects of our single-family zoning policies, and to work toward meeting the county’s housing supply obligations and needs. Planning Board Seeks Public Comment on an Administrative Sewer Category Change Request The Planning Board will hear testimony and consider recommendations for the water and sewer category change request (WSSCR) listed below on Thursday June 24, 2021. The applications request that community water and/or sewer service be extended to these properties. A public hearing for this administrative case will be facilitated via telephone conference on June 23, 2021 at 9:00 am by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Planning Board recommendations for these cases will be presented to the County Executive before final decision.
The staff report for the water and sewer category change requests will be posted on the Planning Board’s website one week prior to the meeting: https://www.montgomeryplanningboard.org/agendas/.
